Kathryn Virginia Phillips

Kathryn Virginia Phillips, 44, passed away in her home January 13, 2017.

Katie was born August 11, 1972 in Newport News, Virginia. She came from a family of five children. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend.

She married Paul Phillips, November 23, 1990 in Tacoma, Washington. Paul and Katie have raised their family in Arizona, Idaho and Washington. Together exploring their surroundings and growing together in joy and peace.

Katie enjoyed being around people. She had an amazing ability to bring an uplifting spirit to the world.

Preserving her memory are: parents, Don and Kathy Fontes, Ted and Linda Dennis, husband, Paul Phillips, three children, Jessica (Michael) Schmitter, Justin (Monica) Phillips, Jonah Phillips, four grandchildren, Bryson, Addyson, Cayson, and Burklee, three sisters, Tracy Settle (Fontes), Jessica Noble (Fontes), Rhonda Ledford, two brothers, Derrick and Dustin Fontes.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Shelley LDS Chapel at 513 South Park Avenue, Shelley, ID 83274.

A trust for Jonah will be available for donations for those who would like to help. Donations can be made at any US Bank location.
