Luilla May Langberg

November 12, 1922 — January 11, 2018

Luilla May Kelley Langberg, our loving mom and grandma passed away on January 11, 2018, peacefully in her sleep.

She was born November 12, 1922 in Otto, Wyoming to Wilford Richard Tolman and Elvira Ranzenberg Tolman. She had a happy childhood and grew up with 8 brothers and sisters. She always had to work hard and was not afraid to do that.

She married Robert Eugene Kelley December 9, 1942 just before he deployed to World War II.
They had 5 children Chuck, Judi, Peggy, Katy and Mike. They were later divorced.

She married David L. Langberg in 1973 and they lived many happy years together. She was close to his son Bob and his wife Ann.

Luilla was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings. She loved to serve and cared for many children who ended up on her doorstep. She was a friend to all and liked to have a lot of fun. She loved to go on rides in the mountains and take car trips. She loved her family, they meant everything to her.

She is survived by her children: Robert Langberg (Ann) of Medford, Oregon, Robert Charles Kelley (Sally) of Sparks, Nevada, Judith Nell Hendrix (Arlyn) of Shelley, Idaho, Peggy Sue Murdock (Gary) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Katy Lou Searle (Allen) of Shelley, Idaho, and Michael Cassius Kelley (Sherry) of Sparks, Nevada. She had 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Beal, and Wallace Tolman of Wyoming.

She was preceded in death by both spouses, her parents Wilford and Elvira Tolman, Her brothers and sisters Walter Vaughn Tolman, John Charles Tolman, Verl Tolman, Clarence Tolman, Hazel Peterson, Madeline Peterson, and one grandson Anthony Hendrix.

She was well loved and will be greatly missed.

We would like to thank Hands of Hope Hospice and Daniel and Angela Kimball for their go-the-extra-mile care. They made the last days of mom’s life pleasant and happy. No words can express our appreciation.
