Shirley Rawls Kennedy, 62, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully Monday, April 9, 2012, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Rexburg, Idaho to Jim Rawls and Vonda Pelton on July 23, 1949.
Shirley enjoyed fishing, camping, art, drawing and listening to her oldie western songs. Shirley and her husband Larry enjoyed floating the Blackfoot River.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Larry Kennedy, daughter, Trisa Mattson, sons, James Mattson and Dennis Clegg (Tavish), step-son, Jim Kennedy (Kelly), her sisters, Beulah Hayes, LaRayne Roberts, and Kitty Barnes, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A small service and celebration of life will be held at the Kennedy's house (710 L Street) on Saturday, April 14th starting at noon.
