I was so sorry to learn of Dean's passing. He was very important to our family and I enjoyed it when he would come to cut my father's hair. I remember watching the entire process and laughing as the two of them joked back and forth and recalled experiences they'd shared in their "wild youth." Dean was one of Dad's closest friends and just seeing his cheerful face would bring a smile to ours. I imagine Dean and Dad had a fine reunion. I wonder if there is fishing in heaven? If so, I know two fellows who will be wading the rivers! All my love and sympathy, Lonette

Uncle "Feebie" will always be remembered by my family as a wonderfully funny man who brought life and laughter into our lives. My heart will always be comforted by Uncle Dean's visit to my mother's (Madge) home as she was in the process of moving from this world to the next. He brought comfort and many smiles to each of us simply by sharing stories with us as we sat around Mom's bed. Aunt Joyce and family, please let me know if there is any thing I can do to help ease your pain during this time. Love, Karla and family.

My sisters and I have such fond memories of Dean's visits to our house to cut dad's hair. He always had a twinkle in his eye and was sure to make us laugh. He was a great story teller and we never got tired of hearing his stories. He was a wonderful friend to my father for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with the Mickelsen family.
