Alyce Marie Clark

May 7, 1942 — January 21, 2008

Alyce Marie Clark, 65, of Shelley, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family Monday morning, January 21, 2008. Marie was born May 7, 1942 in Pocatello, Idaho to Edwin and Phyllis Buttcane Beck.

She married Roger Delbert Clark, May 11, 1974 in Blackfoot, Idaho. In September of 1992 their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

She grew up in Shelley where she graduated from Shelley High School and pursued a nursing degree where she specialized in psychiatric nursing. Her greatest love in life in addition to raising her 7 children was caring for all of her patients as a nurse. She truly loved her profession.            

Marie loved to fish, hunt and go camping. She also enjoyed going for long drives with Roger and viewing the scenery of the Swan Valley and Island Park areas. She enjoyed spending all of her spare time with her family where she was sure to keep the gumball machine full for her grandchildren. She will be deeply misses by all of her family, friends and “Max-A-Million" her faithful and loving cocker spaniel.

She is survived by her husband Roger of 34 years; children, Kenneth (Tracy) Clark of Idaho Falls, Jeanette (Duane) Fairbanks of Jackson Hole, WY, Bradley Clark of Bellingham, WA, Jason (Christine) Clark, Gary Clark, Mike (Kim) Clark, Jon (Darla) Clark all of Idaho Falls. Her sister, Maxine (Ray) Hillman of Homer, Alaska and 14 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday January 26, 2008 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. The family will receive friends Saturday morning 9:30 till 10:45 A.M. at Nalder’s.  Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hands of Hope Hospice in Marie’s name.
