Bonnie Diana Preston

Bonnie Diana Preston, 67, of Shelley passed away March 15, 2016 at her home.

She was born September 24, 1948 in Pocatello, Idaho to Wilber Lorin and Reva B. Murdock Disher.

She was raised in Pocatello where she attended Highland High School.

At the age of 17 she married Francis Leslie Walters.

They had one son, Francis Leslie Walters II.

After the death of her first husband she met Raymond Floyd Preston and on August 24, 1968 they were married in Pocatello.

They had four more children.

Bonnie was secretary of the Preston Family Ranch for 29 years in Geneva, Idaho.

She also was an Avon Representative for 16 years in Shelley.

She was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints.

She was always serving others especially her family.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond of Shelley, children, Francis Leslie Walters II of Shelley, Sue Lynn (Rick) Ridgway of Boise, M. Katherine (William) Barnett of Freedom, WY, Edward L. (Tiffany) Preston of Montpelier, Diana J. (Sean) Thompson of Fairview, WY, three sisters, Deloris Johnson and Barbra (Robert) Oliver both of Pocatello, and Connie Harlock of Colorado, 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis Walters, parents, two brothers, Robert Disher and Richard Disher.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 21, 2016 at the Shelley Eighth Ward Chapel (184 N Park). The family will meet with friends Monday morning from 9:30 till 10:40 A.M. at the church.

Burial will follow at 3:30 P.M. in the Montpelier City Cemetery under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
