Brad L. Mathews

November 13, 1976 — June 24, 2016

Bradley Lynn Mathews fought the good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith.

He was born November 13, 1976 and returned home to our Heavenly Father on June 24, 2016 at the age of 39. He lived his life with multiminicore myopathy, he had such a positive attitude through all of his trials that he inspired a family and a community.

Brad was a master at bringing his family and friends together with his phone calls, emails and travel plans.  Although we lifted him physically he lifted us spiritually.

Through all his limitations he accomplished so much, he is a graduate of Shelley High School and Eastern Idaho Vocational Technical College.  Brad earned his Associates in Accounting and “Student of the Semester” at the college and is remembered well by so many.  He earned the Eagle Scout award at the age of 13.  He served as a stake missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Brad also served a year-long mission at the Family and Church History Headquarters Mission in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He served faithfully in many other positions.

He is survived by his parents Darwin and Lynda Mathews, brothers and sisters; Darci Mathews of Idaho Falls, Hayley Mathews of Missoula, MT, Kent (Salli) Brown of Salt Lake City, UT, Michelle (Eric) Giles of Cedar City, UT, Brett (Rachel) Mathews of Shelley, ID, and 18 nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. This time apart will only be a”titch.”
