Celsa Avita De Nevarez

July 21, 1918 — December 9, 2013

Celsa Avita de Nevarez, 95, of Idaho Falls passed away December 9, 2013 at her home under hospice care.

She was born July 29, 1918 in Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, Mexico to Romulo Avita and Eluteria Silvas.

Celsa married Eutimio Nevarez August of 1934 in Santiago Papasquiaro, Mexico.

Celsa was retired and a natural homemaker.

She loved to sew and cook.

Her specialty was planting and growing flowers during the summer.

She loved going to church on Sundays.

She loved visiting and visits from her family and friends and all enjoyed her sense of humor.

Her laughter inspired everybody.

She had tons of stories that all her family enjoyed hearing.

Her laughter and humor and everything about her will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children; Teresa (Jamie) Nevarez of Blackfoot; Raquel N. (Javier) Meraz of Durango, Mexico; Elia N. (Mario) Gomez of Idaho Falls; Raul (Lucia) Nevarez of Firth; Armando (Hermelinda) Nevarez of Shelley; Lupe (Maria) Nevarez of Phoenix, Arizona; Alicia N. Dominguez of Shelley; Jamie (Marina) Nevarez of Blackfoot; Fransisco (Epefania) Nevarez of Hammond, Indiana; 47 grandchildren and 89 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, two sons, Beto Nevarez and Javier Nevarez, and one daughter, Leonor Nevarez.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Nalder Funeral Home

Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Christ the King Church (corner of 17

th

Street and Woodruff Street) in Idaho Falls. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
