Charley R. Jaramillo, 77, of Shelley died April 5, 2008 at his home from natural causes.
He was born March 4, 1931 in Del Norte, Colorado to Esaias “Si” Jaramillo and Emilia Martinez. He attended school in Del Norte, Colorado and in Goshen and Firth.
He worked for various farmers in the Shelley area; he also worked for B & B Leather in Blackfoot. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Campaign and was Honorably Discharged. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sister Rosalie Jaramillo of Shelley and brothers Sam Jaramillo of Blackfoot and Lee (Shannon) Jaramillo of Menan, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Agnes Jaramillo.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday April 9, 2008 at the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery with military rites by Bingham Post 93 of Shelley.
