Colleen Whiting, 67 of Shelley passed away November 30, 2013 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, ID.

She was born November 24, 1946 at Rigby, Idaho to Heber Allen and Lula Wanda Frandsen Sellers the 5

th

of 10 children.

She married Robert George Whiting on February 19, 1970.  To this blessed union, three children were born, Michele, Scott, and Nicole.

Colleen worked at Family Dental Health Center for 25 years. Before that she took care of children while being a homemaker.

Her hobbies included sewing, cooking and playing board games (which she loved).   She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved all of her family and friends.  Colleen had a positive attitude, beautiful smile and always found the good in others.  She was a truly genuine person.

She is survived by her husband, children, Michele (Kevin) Lott, Scott Robert Whiting and Nicole Lynn Whiting and five grandchildren, siblings, Nola (Brent) Hall, Ronald Allen (Ila May Cook) Sellers, Donna (Jerald D.) Hansen, Richard Earl (Clarinda Malmstorm) Sellers, Karma (Craig) Burtenshaw, Peggy (Bradley C.) Petersen, Chad D (Marchelle Dunkley) Sellers, Carl Brian (Debra Moran) Sellers and Diane (John R.) Reed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Heber Allen Sellers, mother, Lula Wanda Frandsen Sellers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Shelley Third Ward Chapel (513 South Park Ave). The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 p.m. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley and Wednesday morning from 9:30 till 10:40 at the church. Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
