Delia Louise Kelley passed away on December 28, 2012 in her home after a dignified and courageous fight with cancer surrounded by her loving family. Her children and grandchildren were honored to care for her; with the assistance of “Hands of Hope Hospice”.

Delia Louise Park was born July 22, 1936 to Stanley Park and Lucille Moeller Park in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Louise spent her early years in Salt Lake, Wendover, Utah, and Idaho Falls.

After settling in Shelley Lucille married Wesley Thomas McCurdy and the family was later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Louise graduated from Shelley High School in 1954. She married Neil Brent Kelley November 2, 1955 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they farmed in the Woodville area and raised six children.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings. One of her favorite being Primary Chorister where she used her “Yack Yack Bird”.

Louise was an accomplished vocalist, seamstress, and artist. Many years were spent sewing and crafting for her family. She was never afraid of hard work and each harvest: grain, beets, or spuds, she was right next to her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Creating beautiful things and planting beautiful flowers were her favorite pastimes. Her talents were enjoyed by many. Louise is survived by her sweetheart Neil B. Kelley, her three sons Kurt (Tina) Kelley, Kris (Janeen) Kelley, Tony (Janis) Kelley, and her three daughters Peggy (Ralph) Risenmay, Kathy (Ron) Nowland, Becky (Ray) Murdoch, as well as her 14 grandsons, 14 granddaughters, and 15 wonderful great grandchildren.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
