Deniece Beck

Deniece Beck, age 79, of Council Bluffs,

passed away April 26, 2016, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

Deniece was born in Idaho Falls, ID., on September 23, 1936.  She was united in marriage to Francis R. Beck on September 2, 1955. To this union seven children were born. Deniece was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker.  Deniece also worked in the clerical departments at J.C.Penney’s and the Creighton University Dental Department.

Her activities centered around The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Elnora (Hammond) Davis, son Jeffrey Beck on September 13

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Francis R. Beck, of Council Bluffs, children and spouses, Suzette (Scott) Kinney, of Chubbuck, ID., Randy (Karla) Beck, of Boise, ID., Tony (Miriam) Beck, of Council Bluffs, Shane (Michelle) Beck, of Crescent, IA; Corey (Connie) Beck, of Haslet, TX; Brad L. Beck, of  Council Bluffs, 29 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, siblings and spouses, Lynne (Val) Christensen, of Tucson, AZ., Joyce (Jay) Mahlin, of Yukon, ID., Bruce (Starr) Davis, of Gilbert. AZ., Monte (Debbie) Davis, of Ammon, ID., many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at the Church on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m., all to take place at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints Stake Center, 2303 Butler Avenue in Council Bluffs. Interment Friday May 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery, in Shelley, Idaho. Memorials are suggested to the Latter day Saints Humanitarian Services.
