Dorothy Morris

Dorothy Morris, 49, of Shelley, passed away May 24, 2009 at her home of natural causes.

She was born February 12, 1960 in Idaho Falls to Herbert Newel Morris and Kathleen Phillips.

She lived in Blackfoot and Shelley. She attended Dean Goodsell Elementary, Shelley Jr. High, and graduated from Shelley High School.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Dorothy enjoyed sewing, cooking unique and interesting dishes, making pretty things for her beloved nieces and nephews, and putting together creative gift baskets. She had a prize winning recipe published in the “Home Cooking” Magazine.

She is survived by her sisters, Norma Jean Morris and Patricia Morris both of Shelley; Nola (Ronald) Stam of Kearns, Utah; Diana (Cameron) Boldman of Idaho Falls; three nieces, one nephew, four great nieces and three great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, two infant brothers, one niece, Calista Rose Stam.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 30, 2009 at the Ucon Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
