Francis Allen Lundquist

February 18, 1937 — October 27, 2011

Francis Allen Lundquist, of Shelley, Idaho, passed away on October 27th, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center at the age of 74.

     Francis was born on February 18, 1937 in Shelley, Idaho to parents Moroni and Leora Allen Lundquist. He attended elementary school and the Shelley High School, graduating in 1955. He met his wife, Raeseal Campbell in Idaho Falls, and spent several dates running around and dancing. They were married February 17, 1956, celebrating their 55th Wedding Anniversary in 2011. 

     Francis worked as a Shelley City Police Officer, then he worked for 25 years at Boise Cascade where he hauled lumber to the western states.  He opened up his own trucking business after that, and retired from Claytons Trucking. He continued to work odd jobs after retirement to keep busy.

     Francis is survived by his wife, Raeseal; his mother, Leora Lundquist; his three children, Tammie Harmon and her husband Kevin Harmon, Tina Hileman and her husband John Hileman, and Tawnya Rainey and her husband Brett Rainey; his younger brother, Dale Lundquist and older brother Leon Lundquist (and his spouse, Janice Lundquist); and his grandchildren, Tabitha Rainey, Tanner Rainey, Trever Rainey, McKenzie Hileman, Ashley Hileman, and Brandi Burns and her husband Chance Burns. He was preceded in death by his father, Moroni Lundquist, and his brother Eugene Lundquist.

     Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 31, 2011 at the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday morning from 9:30 till 10:30 a.m. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
