Guy Thomas Coffey

Guy Thomas Coffey, 50, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 5, 2009 at his home of natural causes.

He was born March 10, 1959 in Covina, California to Lloyd and Anne Miller Coffey. He lived in Covina, California and Grand Island, Nebraska before moving with his family to Idaho Falls in 1973. He also lived in Portland, Oregon where he graduated from high school.

Guy enjoyed playing pool, collecting Star Trek memorabilia, gardening, and helping others.

He is survived by his mother, Anne Porter of Idaho Falls; two sisters, Julie Mendoza of Portland, OR and Lorraine Porter of Butte, MT; three brothers, John Porter of Eugene, OR; Mike (Teresa) Porter and Carl (Sandra) Porter both of Idaho Falls; five nieces, four nephews, one great niece and one great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, Dana Coffey and Danny Porter, and one sister, Virginia Porter.

Graveside Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday April 9, 2009 at the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 till 12:45 P.M. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley.
