Herman Lawrence Gray, 83, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away August 8, 2010 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born September 13, 1926 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Hester and Lillie Sparks Gray.
On March 25, 1961 he married Mary Clester in Lamar, Colorado.
Herman served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946. While in the service he was stationed in Hawaii.
He was a member of the American Legion Tony Asher Post 300 in Garfield, Kansas. He also served on the Garfield Volunteer Fire Department.
Herman is survived by his wife, Mary Gray of Idaho Falls, ID; two daughters, Beth Adee of Kansas City, KS; and Lillie Brown of Idaho Falls, ID, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, an infant brother and Paul Gray, three sisters, Ruby McGuire, Martha Chambers and Grace Reeves.
According to Herman’s wishes, cremation services are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley, Idaho.
