Iris Irene Morgan of Firth passed away surround by her family December 22, 2007. She was born January 17, 1923 in Lewisville, Id to Orin and Mary Ida Morissey Hardcastle

She grew up in the Lewisville/ Rigby Area and attended school in Rigby. On December 6, 1941 she married her sweetheart Elmo A Morgan in Osgood, Id. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints and served in various callings. Though out her life Iris enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, traveling in the RV, crocheting, getting to together with her childhood friends of 80 years. Fern Griffin, Georgia Chase, Wanda Weeks, Leah Hurley, Mary Carter and Mable Wetizel.

She survived by her children Sandra and (Dennis) Reid of Rexburg. Rosalie and (Carl) Lemons, Soda Srprings, ID Orin and (Peggy) Morgan of Riverside. Reynold and (Kathy) Morgan of Blackfoot. Sister Dana of The Dalles Or. Lynn of Idaho Falls, ID, Kevin of The Dalles Or: 27 Grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her her husband Elmo, Father, Mother, three brother five sisters and, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. 

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday December 27, 2007 at the Firth Ward Chapel (744 North 600 East). The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 till 8:30 P.M. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley and Thursday morning 9:30 till 10:40 A.M. at the Church.  Interment will be in the Firth Cemetery.
