Karen Bea Hansen

Karen Hansen, 64, of Idaho Falls passed away May 18, 2006 from injuries received in an automobile accident.

She was born August 27, 1941 in Shelley, Idaho to N. Donald and Fama Elaine Crofts Hansen.  She attended schools in the Firth area and graduated from Firth High School with honors.

Karen was an active, talented girl.  She performed dance and trick riding in rodeos for several years all over the west.  Dancing, horses, having the best car around, cats, birds, and animals of any kind were the things she enjoyed.  She was a computer whiz and did book keeping for several businesses.  She loved her home by the river.  Her person and influence will be missed by many people and a variety of animals around her home.

She is survived by her mother, Fama, two brothers, Gerry and Donnie, two sons, Daren and Eddy, and several Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald, and brother, Doug.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday May 25 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:30 to 12:40 P.M. at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery.
