Kim H. Shrives

Kim H. Shrives, 53, of Shelley, passed away Friday September 24, 2010 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 12, 1957 at Idaho Falls to Howard H. and Irene Caughie Shrives.

He served in the United States Army.

Kim enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, anything outdoors and spending time with family.  He really loved his grandchildren and animals.  Kim was a fun, loving, and humorous guy.

Kim is survived by his wife, Diane Shrives of Shelley;  children, Ruth (Chris) Marrow, Ron (Jamie) Shrives both of Shelley, and Kevin Shrives, 13 grandchildren and two dogs, a brother, Jay Shrives of Nebraska; two sisters, Carol Swearingen of Shelley; and Ronda Cody of Blackfoot.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Robert Shrives.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday September 30, 2010 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley with military rites by David B. Bleak Post 93. The family will receive friends Thursday morning 11:00 A.M. till 12:45 P.M. at Nalder Funeral Home.
