Leda Brady Hansen

December 9, 1920 — October 2, 2007

Leda Jones Brady Hansen passed from this world into the loving arms of her father in heaven on October 2, 2007. 

She was an active member of the LDS Church where she enjoyed serving as a visiting teacher.  She was loved and respected by all that knew her.   

Leda was born on December 9, 1920 in Fairview, Utah.  She was the youngest of 9 children born to Marion Jehu Brady and Celestia Castle Jones Brady.  She grew up and attended school in Fairview, Utah.  

On March 3, 1943 she married Arthur C. Hansen in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on September 1, 1988.  Arthur passed away on October 20, 2002.  They moved from Fountain Green, Utah to Blackfoot, Idaho in 1961; from Blackfoot to Basalt in 1965; finally building and moving to their present home at Goshen, Idaho in 1977.  

Leda is survived by her children Linda (Punk) Hjelm of Goshen, Idaho; Earlene (Ray) Olsen of Dubois, Idaho; Kathy (Tim) Grebstad of Basalt, Idaho; and DiAnn (Orval) Burnside of Goshen, Idaho; 10 grandchildren,11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.  She is preceded in death by her husband and parents and all eight of her brothers and sisters.  

Funeral services will be Friday, October 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Goshen Ward Chapel, 792 North 1090 East, Goshen, Idaho with Todd Wilson conducting.  The family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. October 4th at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak Street, Shelley, Idaho and Friday 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the church.  Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery.
