M. Nadine Gray

M. Nadine Gray, 87, of Shelley, Idaho passed away April 15,2009 of natural causes, she was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice of Blackfoot.

She was born February 23, 1922 in Lavaside, Idaho to David Arthur Stewart and Edna Lula Gardner. She was raised in Lavaside and attended school there and also in Blackfoot.

She married Douglas Gray on May 16, 1946 in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

Nadine’s passion in life was genealogy. She served in the Church Extraction Program for 27 years, being released just one year ago. She was active in the church, serving in many church callings. She enjoyed working in the yard in her flower beds. She loved camping with Doug. They spent many winters in Yuma, Arizona with many friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter Kim (Paul) Worlton of Shelley; one sister Renee' Tuuri of Idaho Falls; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Doug, one daughter, Rita, parents, brothers, Harvey, Max, Arville, Edward, Gale and one sister, LaVerne Jensen.

The family would like to express their thanks and deepest appreciation to Aspen Home Health and Hospice, especially Kara and Leslie for their tireless love and care during this difficult time and to Mike and Jen for their strength and love to provide such great around the clock care for grandma.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 till 12:30 P. M. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak Street) in Shelley.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Development Workshop, 555 W 25th Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402.
