Marilyn K. Fielding

December 8, 1927 — July 22, 2015

Marilyn Kelley Fielding, 87, of Firth, died July 22, 2015 at her home.

She was born in Shelley to Floyd and Bertha (Bendixin) Kelley. After Bertha's death she was raised by Fern Kelley. She attended Shelley schools and one year of college at Utah State University. She married Delwin Roy Fielding June 4, 1947 in the Idaho Falls Temple.

She was a homemaker and served in many callings in the LDS Church. She loved doing genealogy. She and her husband served missions in Atlanta, Georgia and the Family History Centers in Salt Lake City, Utah and Idaho Falls and as well as stake missionaries.

They also served as ordinance workers in the Idaho Falls Temple.

She is survived by her sons, Delynn (Margaret) Fielding of Castledale, Utah and Brian (Cynthia) Fielding of Firth, daughters, Sheryl (Bruce) Koon of Ririe, Vicki (Steven) Best of Shelley, Sheree (Calvin) Baird of Fountain Green, Utah, Robyn (Michael) Astle of Smoot, Wyoming, Keleen Butler of Mountain Home, her brothers, Gerald (Helen) Kelley of Shelley, Norman (Leola) Kelley of Shelley, Karl (Connie) Kelley of Shelley, Kendall (Carla) Kelley of Kimball,

and sister Marceil (Val) Peterson of Tucson, Arizona, thirty-three grandchildren and ninety-six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Delwin, two sons, Delwin Brent and Richard Kelley Fiedling, and a granddaughter, Angela Best.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Firth Stake Center (823 North 675 East) in Basalt

with Bishop Allen Anderson conducting

. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 till 8:30 p.m. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley and Monday morning from 9:30 till 10:40 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
