She was always a very spiritual person, a Christian.  She studied the scriptures and prayed often. She did all things in the way of pleasing the Lord.

She had a passionate interest in growing beautiful flowerbeds, canning food from her garden (which included her famous raspberry jam, which everyone loved.  Over the years she made dolls crafts and special homemade quilts that she loved to make for her family.  She

loved the Holidays, Christmas time was her favorite time of year. Her house would be decorated with villages, train sets and Santa Claus, everywhere; it was magical.  She always had a warm welcome for anyone that came into her home.

In 1976 she met Cleon Dean Jensen and they were married a month later. Mary and Cleon combined their love and children together and had a child of their own.   With their family they made a home in the Taylor area of Idaho Falls.  They had 37 wonderful years together in love, raising a family together and caring for each other.

Mary Lou was very proud of her family and had a huge love for her children and grandchildren.  She was always there to help her children and her family with a warm heart, kindness and love with such a sweet soft Southern voice. She will be greatly missed and she leaves behind many wonderful memories for all of those who had the opportunity to know such a loving person.
