Michael Lynn Bradley, 64, passed away peacefully in his home, July 29, 2011

Mike was born in Shelley, Idaho, on August 26, 1946, to Lynn and Jeanne Bradley. He graduated from Shelley High School in 1964. After graduation he started his carpenter apprenticeship under his dad. Mike served 4 years in the Air Force, completing an on-the-job training course as a carpenter.  He was the OJT training instructor the last 7 months while in the Air Force. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1971. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mike was married to K. Ann McIlhenny on February 5, 1969. After discharge from the Air Force, Mike worked for local construction companies including Homer Biggers Construction and in partnership with C&H Construction where he worked the last 24 years before retiring in 2008. He was a quiet, hard working man who was very well respected by those who knew or associated with him, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Many people were recipients of his carpentry skills. One of his local contributions was building a replica of an old school house with Dave Clifford, which currently can be seen in the Museum of Idaho. Mike and Ann enjoyed spending time with their friends Lynn and Gayla Arave most notably were their camping trips and weekly breakfasts.

Mike is survived by his wife Ann of Shelley; sons Troy (Marie) Bradley and Jon (Nancy) Bradley and daughter Kelly Meli, all of Shelley; brother Joe (Kirstie) Bradley of Boise; sisters Marsha Fitch and Layne (Bill) Holden, both of Idaho Falls; stepfather John Larsen of Ucon; stepbrothers Ron (Joyce) Larsen of Ucon and Terry (Karen) Larsen of Rigby; stepsister Sally Miles of Idaho Falls; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
