Odell Leon Dye

Odell Leon Dye, 86, of Pocatello passed away December 15, 2011 at Portneuf Medical Center.

He was born May 5, 1925 in Firth, Idaho to Robert Ernest and Mary Irene Johnson Dye.

He married DeVonna Dye and she preceded him in death.

Odell is survived by a son, Dell Ray Dye, an adopted son, Norman Dye, his best friend, John Viles, his trusted dog, Pippin, a brother, Therral Dye, a sister, Lola Lewis, and many step sons and daughters.

He was preceded in death his parents, a sister, Evon Damron, and his wife, DeVonna.

Graveside services will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday December 22, 2011 at the Firth Cemetery.  Military Rites will be performed by the David B. Bleak Post 93 assisted by the Idaho Honor Guard.  Arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
