Pallie Joy Bumgarner Crider passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014, at EIRMC due to complications from a stroke.

Pallie was born March 28, 1933 to Lawrence Howard and Annie May Bumgarner, in Shelley, Idaho.

Her early life was spent growing up in Shelley.

She is the second of seven children.

She moved to Fort Benton, Montana in the mid 1950’s.

While there she met Jerry Crider.

They were married May 10, 1958 in Fort Harrison, Montana.

They later moved to Helena, Montana where they opened Jerry’s Valley Service.

Joe was born while they were in Helena.

On June 7, 1975 they moved to Shelley, Idaho where she has since resided.

Jerry died on October 13, 1975.

Pallie worked for several years at Lent’s Husky and Huntsman’s in Shelley.

She is survived by a son, Joe (Michelle) Crider, a daughter, Rose Marie Russell, 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, two sisters, Jean (Bob) Isaacs and Jackie Schnuckel and two brothers, Ray (Earlene) Olsen and Ralph (Juanita) Olsen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sons, Jerry Dean Crider, Billy Russell, and Kevin Russell, a sister, JoAnn Hodges and a brother Larry Bumgarner.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 24, 2014 at Nalder Funeral Home

, 110 W Oak, in Shelley

. The family will meet with friends Thursday evening from 7:00 till 8:30 P.M. and Friday morning for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
