Rayloa Moffat Larson

July 30, 1945 — November 24, 2006

Rayola Moffat Larson, 61, of Shelley passed away November 24, 2006 at Life Care Center in Idaho Falls.

She was born July 30, 1945 at Driggs, Idaho to Ralph Wearing and Clara Mace Waddell Moffat.  She grew up on a farm.

She married Author Gail Leonardson in October of 1965.  They were later divorced.  She married Carl Larson in February 1981 and they were later sealed in the LDS Temple.  They lived in Blackfoot, Provo, UT, were she worked at the Bishop’s storehouse, and Shelley.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She loved the outdoors, spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, crocheting, and later in life coloring fuzzy posters.  She collected over 450 different sets of salt & pepper shakers.

She is survived by two sons, Jay (Denise) Leonardson and Jerry Leonardson both of Shelley, ID, three brothers, Warren Moffat of Smoot, WY, DeWayne Moffat of Afton, WY, and Leon Moffat of Lewisville, ID, one sister, Doris Cox of Smoot, WY, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Tamara Leonardson, and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday November 27th at the Taylor Ward Chapel (1101 East 1250 North). The family will receive friends Monday 11:30 till 12:40 P.M. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.  Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
