Raynola Ella Fowler

July 5, 1927 — November 13, 2014

Raynola Ella Rollins Fowler, 87, of Shelley, passed away November 13, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society in Idaho Falls surrounded by her family.

Raynola was born July 5, 1927 in Minersville, Utah to Vern and Etta Rollins.

She was the youngest of nine children.

Raynola was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served a family history mission in Salt Lake City, Utah from December 1998 to December 1999.

On December 9, 1943 she married Glen Edward Fowler in Farmington, Utah.

They were later sealed in the temple in October of 1966.

Together they raise four children: Larene, Barabara, Edward and Ronald.

They moved to Shelley in March of 1944.

She worked for R.T. French Potato Company and retired in 1970.

Raynola enjoyed the family reunions, spending time with her children and grandchildren, camping, going over the Teton Pass on Easter, and going to Arizona during the winter months with her husband.

Raynola is survived by her daughter, Larene (Eldon) Stoltenberg of Idaho Falls; her son, Edward (Connie) Fowler of Shelley, five grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glen in 1977, daughter, Barbara and two grandchildren, Steven and Krista in 1985, her youngest son, Ronald in 1970, four brothers, Frank, Arnold, Leland, and Floyd, four sisters, Vernetta, Hannah, Belva, and Flossie, a nephew, Golden Adams and a niece, Alice Autry.

A special thanks to Encompass Hospice, The Gables of Shelley, and Good Samaritan Society staff who took loving care of her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Woodville Second Ward Chapel (1555 North 700 East). The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley and Thursday morning from 9:30 till 10:40 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
