Shari Leatham

Shari Leatham, 56, of Iona, passed away February 26, 2008, at her home surrounded by family & friends following a long courageous battle with breast cancer.

Shari was born May 16, 1951 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Marvin H. and Shirley Steensma Leatham. She grew up in Darlington, Idaho and graduated from Butte High School in 1969.  She also graduated from Cosmetology School in Hemet, California in 1974.

Shari was a fun loving free spirit who loved life and spending time with family & friends.  She was a loving mother, sister, daughter, & friend.  She loved her kids and grandkids.

She married Steve Calhoun in San Diego, California and lived there for several years.  They were later divorced.  She married Robert E. Morris of Indio, California and they made their home in Rigby, Idaho for 18 years.  They later divorced.

She worked as a Bus Driver for the INEL for several years and most recently worked in the Human Resources Department for Bechtel.

Her interests included decorating, gardening, and being outdoors.  She loved horses and everything western.

Survivors include her children; Brandi M. Hines, Lance (Mindy) Calhoun, Lucas (Traci) Calhoun, and Dylan Morris, mother, Shirley Leatham, brothers, Rex Leatham, Terry (Molly) Burns, sisters, Nancy (Chuck) Whitlock, Irene (John) Prestridge, Diane (Jay) Catmull and Deena (Kurt) Welker, grandchildren, Allora D. Adams, Sierra, Dakota & Lane Calhoun, Madison, Logan, Christian Calhoun.

She was preceded in death by her father and sister-in-law, Jody Leatham.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday March 1, 2008 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 till 8:30 P.M. and Saturday morning 10:00 till 10:45 A.M. at the funeral home.
