Sharon Raye Palmer, 67, of Firth passed away November 5, 2013 at her home.

She was born November 29, 1945 in Brush, Colorado to George William and Faye Manrine Myers Schneider.

She lived in Big Bear, California where she graduated from high school and attended beauty school.

She married Ken Hawkins in 1961 in California.

They had three children.

He preceded her in death.

She later moved to Salmon, Idaho and in 1980 married Michael Palmer.

Together they raised six children.

The family moved to Loveland, Colorado.

They were later divorced.

Sharon worked for 7-11, Safeway, and King Soopers in Longmont.

After retiring she moved to Idaho to live with her daughter and son in law and five grandchildren.

She loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and her yearly trips to Yellowstone Park.

She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, animals, the holidays, cooking, and shopping.

She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything and was very proud of all who called her grandma.

Sharon is survived by her children; Kenneth Hawkins of Littleton, CO; Jimmy Hawkins of Oregon; Diane (Mike) Everett of Milliken, CO; Dustin Palmer of Loveland, CO; Nita (Clint) Lane of Firth, ID; Tammy (Charlie) Randolph of Salmon, ID; brothers; Ron (Gayle) Schneider and Ken Schneider both of Caldwell, ID; sister; Georgia (Tom) Bell of Oregon; step mom; Carol Schneider of Green Leaf, ID; 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, and one Grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 till 2:45 at the funeral home.
