Shirley Vee Searle

Shirley Vee Searle, 72, of St. George, UT, formerly of Shelley, ID died January 6, 2007 in St. George.           

She was born July 31, 1934 in Shelley, ID to Clyde Raymond and Vera Oler Adams.  She grew up and attended schools in Shelley.    

On July 6, 1951 she married Duane J. Searle in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.  She worked as a secretary for the Shelley School District, in the Bank in Shelley, and the Dialysis Dept. in Pocatello.    

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many positions. She was very service oriented. Duane & Shirley served a mission to Cody, Wyoming and celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2001.     

She enjoyed square dancing, oil painting, cooking, and singing, but most of all her family.        

She is survived by her husband, Duane J. Searle of St. George, UT, three children, Julie (Zebbie) Miller of Shelley, ID, Allen (Katy) Searle of Shelley, ID, Sheryl (Mark) Wade of Ivins, UT, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson, her parents, and a brother and sister.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday January 13th at the Shelley South Stake Center (675 South Milton) in Shelley with President Dave Johnson conducting. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley and Saturday morning 10:00 till 10:45 A.M at the church. Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
