Troy Lorenzo Hansen

Troy Lorenzo Hansen, 33, of Shelley, Idaho died September 5, 2007 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 10, 1974 in Pocatello, Idaho, to Carl Lorenzo Hansen and Judy Taysom Hansen.            

Troy graduated from Shelley High School in 1992. He continued his education by attending Ricks College and Idaho State University. Troy then married Amber Peterson and they have daughter who was the light of his life. He later married Lisa Cherie Fullmer and then divorced.            

Troy enjoyed being outdoors particularly playing golf and skiing. He was a good dancer and enjoyed teaching ballroom dance. Troy had a talent of making people feel comfortable around him which helped him to be successful in various jobs he held as an insurance salesman and in restaurant services.            

Troy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held the position of an elder. He was able to achieve the rank of an Eagle Scout in the scouting program. Troy has family and friends that loved and supported him in various ways. In turn, Troy gave of himself and extended a sincere love to each.            

Survivors include his daughter: Drewe Amelia Hansen, Florida: his parents, Carl Lorenzo Hansen and Judy Taysom Hansen, Shelley: his siblings: sister, Penni Hansen Pickett (Todd Pickett), Mesa, Arizona: sister, Mindy Hansen Lewis (Jed Lewis), Shelley: sister, Jodi Hansen Palumbo (Ben Palumbo), Clearfield, Utah: brother, Cory Hansen (Lisa Jones Hansen), Kansas City, Missouri: grandparents, Glenn Lorenzo Hansen and Marilyn Nielson Hansen, Shelley.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday September 10, 2007 at the Shelley First Ward Chapel (184 North Park Ave.). The family will receive friends Sunday September 9th from 6:00 till 7:30 P.M. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley and Monday 9:30 till 10:40 A.M. at the church.  Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
