Virginia M. Garza

Virginia M. Garza, 82, passed away at her home in Basalt on Saturday, November 19, 2016 surrounded by her family.

She was born May 21, 1934 in Morterrey, Mexico to Petrolino and Maria G Melendez.

Virginia was the beloved wife of Francisco E. Garza.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, 5 children and 4 daughters in law, Imelda Garza, Jose (Janet) Garza, Joel (Cristine) Garza, Jesse (Norma) Garza, and (her favorite) Javier (Regina) Garza. She was blessed with 11 beautiful grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Petrolino and Maria G. Melendez and her only sister, Francis Martinez.

She will be greatly missed by her family but will always be remembered and loved. We will always carry her in our hearts and count ourselves fortunate to have called her wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

A Rosary will be held at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, November 22nd at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W Oak Street in Shelley. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 23rd at Nalder Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Interment to follow at the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
