Bryan Lee Page, 88, of Shelley passed away January 25, 2019 at his home.

Bryan was born August 8, 1930 in Preston, Idaho to Samuel Bryan and Hattie May Hymas Page. He grew up in Preston with two brothers and three sisters, Perry, Doland, Karma, Barbara, and Shirley.

He graduated from Preston High School and went to work for Mountain Bell where he worked for 33 years in Idaho Falls and INL. He retired in the late 1980’s and drove courier for West One Bank for five years.

On December 24, 1950 he married Lawanna Welch in Bancroft, Idaho. To this union was born three children, Sidney Bryan, Todd W, and Corie Lou.

He was inducted into the U.S. Army for the Korean War from 1951-1953. He later worked in communications for the Air Force.

He was a fun loving person. He loved to visit with everyone and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling. With his wife, her sister and husband, they traveled to many countries (20), mostly historical sites.

When he retired he lived most summers in his cabin in Palisades, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Lawanna Welch Page of Shelley, sons, Sidney Bryan (Denise) Page of Shelley, Todd W (Linda) Page of Idaho Falls, daughter, Corie Lou (Steven) Rice of Portland, Oregon, nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W Oak Street in Shelley. Military rites will be performed by the American Legion David B. Bleak Post 93.
