Cherryl Jean Dahlquist

February 9, 1954 — July 21, 2020

Cherryl Jean Dahlquist, 66, passed away Tuesday July 21st after a long battle with cancer.

Cherryl was born February 9th, 1954 in Pocatello ID to Cleo Dean Camphouse and Norma Jean Byington Camphouse. She was the second of six children. Cherryl grew-up going to school in the Snake River School District, graduating from Snake River High School.

Cherryl married Danny LeRoy Dahlquist on the 18th of September, 1972. To this Union was born Jonathon LeRoy Dahlquist, the pride and joy of her life. She worked at SE Financial since 2006. In 2012 Cherryl became a grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her granddaughters, Gabrielle and Gwendolyn Dahlquist.

Cherryl has been a cherished member of the Blackfoot community. It seemed as though she knew everyone, always making time to say hello and see how others were doing. She made an impact on all of those whom she met, always accepting people as they were. Her personality was as big and dynamic as her bright red hair. She was hilarious, sarcastic, and tenacious.

Cherryl is survived by her son Jonathan, her daughter-in-law, Deea, her precious granddaughters, Gabrielle and Gwendolyn, her mother, Norma, her brothers Gary and Paul Camphouse, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Danny, her father, Cleo, and her brothers, Cleo Randy, Kenneth Roy, and Steven Dean Camphouse.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, July 25th, 2020 at Grove City Cemetery.
