Claudia Miguelina Alba Jaussi

Claudia Miguelina Alba Jaussi, 67, of Orlando, Florida passed away February 18, 2022. She was surrounded by her loved ones, as she left her earthly body, and was reunited with her parents and brothers who have gone before.

Claudia was born to Manuel Jesus and Lydia Flor Alba, in Caraz, Peru, South America, on December 16, 1954. She was the eighth child out of ten, five brothers and four sisters. Claudia went to grade school in Peru. She later graduated college with a secretarial degree.

In 1976 Claudia was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In the summer of 1982 she came to the United States and lived in Miami Beach, Florida. Later that same year she gave birth to her daughter, Bonnie. The two moved north to Orlando where she settled and raised her daughter.

Claudia loved the Lord. She gave love and service to those who crossed her path. She loved listening to music and cooking her signature dishes for those she cherished. She enjoyed shopping and loved it even better if she found a deal. She loved her parents and was dedicated to them and her siblings. Her biggest joy was being a mother and grandmother.

Claudia is survived by her daughter, R. Bonnie (Gary) Dobson; her six grandchildren, Ian, Austin, Lydia, Isabella, Giada and Leilani; and her siblings, Sara Soriano, Ruth Johnson, Arturo (Raquel) Alba, Ana Alba, Elena (Alexander) Nunez, German Alba. As well as many nieces and nephews with their families.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Lydia Alba; and brothers, Arturo Alba, Natanael Aquiles Alba and Luis Natanael Alba.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Shelley South Stake Center, 675 South Milton. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 p.m. at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak Street and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. till 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
