It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dad, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Dee Gamble quietly slipped through the veil to embrace the love of his life, Sherry, who has been patiently waiting for him for the past year and a half.
Clifford Dee Gamble was born June 19, 1942 to Cliff and Erma Bingham Gamble in Tooele, Utah. He departed this life on January 15, 2016, in Idaho Falls, Idaho after a short battle with a ruthless illness.
He married his one true love, Sherry Leah Guill, on January 3, 1961 and was later Sealed to her in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were blessed with three wonderful children, Bob, Shirley, and Tracy Gamble, eight of the world's best grandchildren, and four fantastic great-grandchildren.
Dee served his country in the Navy for four years.
Never one to draw attention to himself, Dee faithfully and quietly served in many capacities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, including bishopric counselor, High Councilman, Family History Consultant, and his favorite, many years as a Scoutmaster.
Dee was very strong, yet humble; intelligent, yet always willing to be taught; spiritual, but not judgmental.
Dee is survived by his children and grandchildren; and two brothers, Floyd and Jay.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sherry; his parents; a brother, Denny; a sister, Lillian; and a grandson, Jeremy Nicolls.
