Donald James Adams, 82, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday May 24, 2019 at his home in Blackfoot Idaho.
He was born in California on Nov 30,1936 to James Adams and Christina Gilbrid Adams.
He attended school and graduated. He then went on to work many jobs. He could do almost anything. The job he loved the most was working for the Long Beach School Dist. as a custodian. He worked there until he retired. He then took up R V ing which he loved. He had certain campgrounds that he would go to and all of his friends would meet there and hang out a month at a time. He really likes to go to the ones where he could fish. Fishing was his favorite sport and it always made him happy. He did a lot of crafts from dream catchers, yarn dolls, can holders to whatever else he could think of.
He married Beverly Ann Hoffman on Nov 2, 1957 in California. There they had theee children, Donna, Jimmy, Tammy.
He is survived by Donna (Fortress) Smith of Washington, Janet Cherry of Blackfoot, and Telford Cherry, Pocatello with many grandchildren and great grandchildren .
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister, one daughter and one son.
Family wishes to express a special thank you to encompass and his nurse Heidi for all the support and care that they gave Don and our family. Also thank you to Crystal (McKell) Luthi and Colbey Monson for the care that they gave Don and to our friends and neighbors.
A celebration of Life will be held on June 22,2019 at the Rose church at 404 N 150 W Blackfoot from 1 pm to 3 pm
