Helen Carrie Frongner

Helen Frongner (b Aug 5, 1935) passed April 5, 2024, at 88 1/2 years old. 

She was proceeded in death by parents Harry G. and Orna O. (Brooks) Ammerman, husbands Charles Evans and Earl Frongner and siblings Stanley, Louise, Ralph (Faye), Harvey (Lois) and Hazel Ammerman. 

She is survived by four children – Owen Evans, Marsha Evans, Gary (Onnolee) Frongner and Shirley (Kim) Merrill, siblings Mary Jane and Harry B. (Leta) Ammerman, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

She loved to cook, bake, sew, crochet, and knit.  Sharing what she made with others including family, friends, and organizations (e.g., V.A. and Shiner hospitals) was important to her. She enjoyed being outdoors and traveling. 

Her warm smile, laughter, quick wit, generosity, and boundless love will be missed. 

Her ashes will be spread in Livingston, Montana on July 20 at the ranch where she grew up, visited often, and loved with family. A meal for family and friends in Livingston will follow.

A Celebration of Helen’s life will be held at Frongner's on

July 21st, 2024, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
