Johnny Lee Prestridge

Johnny Lee Prestridge, 40, passed away too soon on January 7, 2023 at his home in Shelley Idaho.


Johnny was born September 13, 1982 in Idaho Falls Idaho to his parents John and Irene Prestridge.


Johnny lived most of his life in Shelley Idaho graduating from Shelley High School in 2000.


While in High School he played soccer and ran track. He was a very good athlete.


After High School he lived a life of adventure. He traveled and lived in Oregon, Hawaii, California, Colorado, and Montana before returning to Idaho.


Johnny found a passion for art at a very young age and that talent blossomed over time. He was a free spirit and was fascinated by everything in nature. He was at home camping in the mountains. He found great beauty in the world and that love helped him create beautiful art.


Johnny was also a very talented musician. It only took a few lessons and the rest he taught himself. He had a beautiful soul and created amazing songs. He loved to share his talent with family and friends.


Johnny was the kind of soul that everyone wanted to get to know. He had a gentle nature that was loved by many.


Johnny was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Marvin and Shirley Leatham, his Aunt Shari Leatham, and his paternal grandparents Bill and Thelma Cannon and Bill and Barbara Prestridge.


He is survived by his parents John and Irene Prestridge and his siblings Jason Prestridge of Paradise Texas, Shawna Prestridge, of Idaho Falls Idaho and his twin sister Tami Prestridge of Idaho Falls Idaho. His sister-in-law Amber Prestridge, nephews Will, Colton and Atlas and niece Harlie.


A family memorial will be held at a later date.


Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
