Kathy Svancara

Kathy Irwin Svancara of Blackfoot Idaho passed away due to complications of Vascular Ehlers-DanLos Syndrome on May 9, 2024. 

Kathy graduated from Shelley High School.

Kathy was a very talented artist, she utilized her gift of craft in many different areas in particular painting, drawing and crotchet. Her greatest accomplishment was her son Trenton, and her greatest joy was watching his children play sporting events. Kathy looked forward to Sister-Time, visits with Friends and Family, and she will be greatly missed by all. Especially her dog, Jax. She found solitude with the birds and flowers in her yard.

Kathy was employed with the Snake River School District for 15 years as a bus driver.  She loved her co-workers and was always thankful for their support and understanding.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 19 years Dennis Svancara, 4 step-children Amy Svancara, Nick Svancara, Mandi Svancara and Megan Svancara, her son Trenton H. Hill (Tyann),10 Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren, Ed Heaps (Brother) and 3 sisters Tauna Rowbury, Tammy Rowbury, and Geri Rowbury, Nieces and Nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by Gary D. Irwin (Father), Janet Rowbury (Mother), Dale A. Rowbury (Dad), Tracy Heaps (Brother), and Kalis Hill (Grandson).

We are all blessed in how she touched our life in some way.

A tribute to Kathy will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday May 17, 2024 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak Street) in Shelley, Idaho.
