Kelly Ann Bradley Meli, 50, formerly of Shelley passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, while vacationing in New Jersey.

Kelly was born Mar. 28, 1964, in Colorado Spring, CO. Her family moved to Shelley in 1969. She attended Shelley High School and Highland Community College in Freeport, IL. Kelly married George Meli in 1981. They traveled the country with his job, settling in Illinois where they raised three children. They were later divorced. In 2002 Kelly moved back to Idaho to be near her family. She had recently moved to Moneta, VA, to help out friends Chris and Rebecca Jenks. Kelly was known for her big heart, bear hugs, and laughter. She enjoyed her days doing her favorite things: spending time with family, helping friends, listening to music, and camping. She loved sharing stories and pictures of her grandchildren.

Kelly was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Idaho Falls. Her faith was an important part of her life.

Kelly is survived by her mother, Ann Bradley; brothers Troy (Marie) Bradley and Jon (Nancy) Bradley all of Shelley; daughters, Mackenzie (Korey Donahoe) Meli and Mary (Shannon Jordan) Meli of Lake Summerset, IL; son, Jorge (Kelsie Nickels) Meli of Conneaut, OH; 5 grandchildren (Preston, Vincent, Gianna, Arystin, Zander); and 5 nieces and nephews (Lisa, Ryan, Heather, Kyle, Kenzie).

She was preceded in death by her father, Mike Bradley, and grandparents.

A casual memory celebration will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 555 E Street, Idaho Falls on Saturday, Nov. 22.  The family will meet with friends from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Shelley Food Bank or Religious Education and Exploration Library at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Idaho Falls.
