Kimberley Ann Wilberg

March 7, 1962 — February 23, 2024

Kimberley Ann Wilberg (61) passed early Friday morning, February 23, 2024. She passed in her home, being held by her husband, from a rapid intestinal rupture and heart attack.

Kim was born in San Francisco, CA. She has a large and loving family, comprising of 3 brothers and 6 sisters.

In 1981, Kim's life changed when she met her eternal sweetheart, Michael D. Wilberg, in Provo, UT. Their love was sealed on April 9th, 1982, in the Salt Lake City Temple, and they began their beautiful life together. They embarked on life's journey, moving from Orem, UT to Grover City, CA, then Las Vegas, NV, and eventually planting roots and raising their family in Basalt, ID. In 2016, Kim and Michael built their beautiful home with a green door in Shelley, ID.

Kim retired from the Shelley School District. She worked at Goodsell, then Sunrise, and last Riverview as a beloved lunch lady. She loved working with the elementary students and knew all of them by name. She was a friend and a helper to all.

As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she found joy and fulfillment serving in multiple callings over her life, including cub scouts, young womens, and a compassionate service coordinator. Kim and Michael have always loved serving in the temple together. She showed through actions, words, and deeds that she loves the gospel and her Savior.

Sunshine” is the word to best describe Kim. It shone brightly in every smile, in every hug, and in every moment spent with her family. Her joy multiplied with each new role she embraced, from wife to mother, and then the cherished role of Gramma. There are many things that her family will always remember. Kim loved reading and passed that love to her children. She loved the color green. Carnations were arguably the best flower because they smelt the best and lasted the longest. She loved donuts and chocolate and that Christmas music is not limited to December. Kim would do her nails in different colors and patterns, but they were always pretty, and pictures were always texted to her daughters. She knew where to get the best fountain Diet Coke, and how to appreciate the first sip from an ice cold can.

Kim is loved dearly by her sweetheart, Michael, and their six children: Lindsey Hedden (Lewis), Miriah Shumway (Casey), Cassandra Pearson (Mike), Elizabeth Crane (Matt), Micah Wilberg (Jessica), and Joshua Wilberg (Felicia). Kim loved being a Gramma to her 17 grandchildren: Tess S., Kylie S., Benson H., Lily H., Wyatt S., Cooper S., Jasper H., Griffin P., Emma S., Kimball H., Beckett P., Sawyer H., Frank C. (deceased), Jane C., Riley MW., Ezra JW., and Caleb MW. And her dog Strider, the only animal she has ever loved.

A viewing will be held at Nalder Funeral Home, Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 6:00-7:30PM. We will be honoring Kim and saying our earthly goodbyes Friday, March 1 at 11:00AM with a small viewing beginning at 10:00 AM. The funeral will be held at the Woodville LDS Church building at 1555 E 700 N Shelley, ID. Burial will be in the Woodville Cemetery.

Services will also be streamed: www.churchofjesuschrist.org/broadcasts using the code 645874. Broadcasting will start at 10:30AM.
