Kylee Camile Christensen

Kylee Camile Christensen was born on January 11, 2002, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 24. She grew up in Shelley, Idaho, before later making her home in Idaho Falls.

Kylee was full of life, with a radiant spirit, a tender heart, and a smile that could light up a room. She was selfless, thoughtful, and deeply considerate of others. To know Kylee was to know her warmth. She had the best laugh, the biggest hugs, and a way of making the people around her feel safe, happy, and important. When Kylee loved you, you knew it. She loved openly and wholeheartedly and never hesitated to show the people in her life just how much they meant to her.

Above everything else, Kylee was a loving mother. Her three children, Valerie, Silas, and Nikolas, were her greatest accomplishments and the most important part of her life.

Kylee loved animals and had an especially soft heart for those who needed someone to care for them. It wasn’t unusual for her to bring home a stray dog or cat that needed love. She enjoyed fishing, swimming, floating, listening to music, going for drives, and spending time with her family. She especially cherished the time she spent with her dad in Shelley and shared a special bond with her younger sister, Aspynn, whom she loved dearly and looked up to.

Kylee could be quiet at first, but once she opened up, she was incredibly funny and could make everyone around her laugh. She loved giving hugs, and those who were lucky enough to receive one will forever remember the warmth behind them. Her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, tender heart, and the way she made people feel loved will be deeply missed.

Kylee is survived by her three beloved children, Valerie Gonzalez (5), Silas Ibarra (2), and Nikolas Ibarra (1 month); her father and stepmother, Travis and Becky Christensen; her mother, Camile Morgan; her sister, Aspynn Christensen; her grandparents, Brent and Luibov Christensen, Karen Christensen, and Eileen and Jeff Jensen; along with many other family members and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Terry Morgan, and her uncle, Brett Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 14, 2026 at the Shelley Third Ward Chapel, 513 South Park Ave. The family will receive friends on Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home.

Kylee’s life will be remembered for the love she gave so freely. She had a way of making people feel important, safe, and deeply loved. Her family will forever carry with them her smile, her laugh, her hugs, and the love she gave so loudly and wholeheartedly.
