LaRee Wittwer Farrar of Cypress, Texas passed away on August 18, 2024.
LaRee was born on July 27, 1939 to Maurine and Sylvan Wittwer in Logan, Utah. She attended elementary through high school in East Lansing, Michigan. She graduated from East Lansing High School in 1957. She graduated from Utah State University in 1961 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Clothing & Textiles and a Business Administration minor.
She met her husband Reed Farrar while a student at Utah State University and they married in 1961. They had four children: Selena, Stephen, Annette, and Linda.
LaRee was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be remembered fondly for her passion of ballet, writing, sewing, and cooking.
LaRee was predeceased by her parents, sister Kathleen and great grandson Luke. She is survived by her husband, Reed Farrar; 3 siblings – Alice (Mack) Sowards, Arthur (Mary Sue) Wittwer, Carl (Noriko Kusukawa) Wittwer; 4 Children - Selena (Brian) Johns, Stephen (Kris) Farrar, Annette (Bob) Brower and Linda (Chuck) Bybee; 9 Grandchildren – Joseph Brower, Kraig (Sarah) Farrar, Reed (Eskarled) Farrar, Abby (Landon) Barney, Ben Farrar, Sarah Bybee, Grant Bybee, Paige Bybee and Bryce Bybee; and 3 Great-Grandchildren – Ryan Farrar, Sage Farrar and James Barney.
Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 12310 New Hampton Dr, Tomball, Texas 77377 on August 31, 2024. Burial and graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024 in the Firth Cemetery.
