Lonnie Clyde Swift

Lonnie Clyde Swift, 65, passed away August 30, 2023 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 10, 1958 in Shelley, Idaho to Clyde William and Ada Pauline Croft Swift.

Lonnie married Janet Marie Samson in Idaho Falls on March 6, 1980.

He worked at Idaho Supreme Potatoes for 43 years, retiring last April. He missed those he worked with.

Lonnie and Janet have raised their three grandsons since they were born. He loved being with his grandsons and they loved him. He also enjoyed watching Netflix.

Lonnie is survived by his wife, Janet, son, Ronnie Clyde Swift, daughter, Maria Lynn Mottor Swift, grandsons, Alex, Aaron, and Austin Motter, three sisters, Karen Carlson, Susie Burtch, Shanna Roeder, and Christine Hightower.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Danny Warren.

No services are planned at this time. The family is under the care of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
