Lorna Gale Koontz

December 7, 1953 — June 18, 2018

Lorna Ellsworth Ferreria Koontz lost her battle to cancer June 18, 2018. She was born December 7, 1953 to Don and Billie Ellsworth in Spokane Washington. They later moved to Idaho where she went to Firth High School she was active in PE, track and drill team during high school.

Lorna married Michael Ferreria which she had 3 sons, Mickey, Christopher, and Joey Ferreria, they later divorced. In 1986 she married Kelly Koontz, they later divorced. She worked for many years at the Morning News as a Graphic Stripper, then went to work at Idaho Supreme in Firth and her most recent employment was at Dawn Enterprises as a seamstress until she was diagnosed with cancer. Lorna enjoyed camping, fishing, crafts, crocheting, sewing and cooking. She made several beautiful porcelain dolls and also made most of their clothes

Lorna is survived by her son Christopher, Auburn Calif. Stepdaughter Samatha (Ralph) Watson, Rigby, her mother Billie Ellsworth, Basalt, Siblings Sharon (Del) Orton, Firth Linda (Layne) Gough, Blackfoot and Clinton (Rhonda) Ellsworth, Basalt. Lorna has five grandkids, Mike, Andrew Ferreria,Kali Sutton, Dylan and Sydney Watson.

She was preceded in death by her father Don, brother Donnie, sons Mickey and Joey

Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. As per Lorna’s request cremation will take place.
