Roberto Diaz Campos, 87,  passed away on October 31, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Asamblea Apostolica Fuente de Salvacion (1590 East Airport Road) in Blackfoot. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 till 12:45 P.M at the church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.

Es con nuestros corazones apesadumbrados y una profunda tristeza que anunciamos el fallecimiento de un amado padre, abuelo, bisabuelo y un miembro querido de nuestra comunidad, Roberto Díaz Campos. Partió de este mundo el 31 de octubre de 2023 en Shelley, Idaho, dejando un legado de amor, fe y recuerdos entrañables.

Roberto Díaz Campos nació el 18 de julio de 1936 en Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México, para comenzar una vida que tocaría los corazones de muchos. Le precedieron en la muerte su amada esposa, Amelia Campos, y dos queridos hijos, Robert Carlos Campos e Irene Campos.

La fe de Roberto fue una parte integral de su vida, y fue un miembro devoto de la Asamblea Apostólica. Su fuerte creencia en el Señor era una luz guía que brillaba a través de sus acciones e interacciones con los demás. Uno de sus pasajes favoritos fue el Salmo 121, que le proporcionaba consuelo, sabiendo que su ayuda y fortaleza provenían del Señor.

Era un talentoso panadero, especializado en repostería mexicana, y su cálida y acogedora panadería era un lugar de encuentro para amigos, familiares y compañeros parroquianos. La hospitalidad de Roberto era inigualable, ya que siempre abría su hogar a las personas que pasaban, convirtiéndose en una figura paternal para muchos que buscaban su orientación y sabiduría.

Roberto Díaz Campos era conocido por su risa contagiosa y cariñosamente se le llamaba "Don Roberto el panadero". Su sonrisa era una fuente de alegría para quienes lo rodeaban, y siempre se podía contar con él para compartir un momento alegre con aquellos que lo necesitaban.

A lo largo de su vida, Roberto estuvo firmemente dedicado a su familia, a menudo descrito como el pilar que mantenía unidos a sus seres queridos. Fue un padre y abuelo amoroso, y su vínculo con su difunta esposa, Amelia, fue un testimonio del poder perdurable del amor. La ansia de Roberto por reunirse con su amada reina, Amelia, brinda consuelo a quienes lamentan su pérdida.

He departed this world on October 31, 2023, in Shelley, Idaho, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories.

Roberto Diaz Campos was born on July 8, 1936, in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, to begin a life that would touch the hearts of many. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Amelia Campos, and two beloved children, Robert Carlos Campos and Irene Campos.

Roberto's faith was an integral part of his life, and he was a devoted member of the Apostolic Assembly. His strong belief in the Lord was a guiding light that shone through his actions and interactions with others.

He was a talented baker, specializing in Mexican pastries, and his warm, welcoming bakery was a gathering place for friends, family, and fellow parishioners. Roberto leaves behind a vast network of family members, including his sister, Mague Diaz, four daughters, one son, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, each of whom will treasure his memory.

One of his favorite passages was Psalm 121, which provided him with solace, knowing that his help and strength came from the Lord.

Roberto Diaz Campos touched the lives of many with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and faith. He will be remembered as a man of great character and as a pillar of strength for those who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and the community he so deeply touched.
