Ron was a member of the LDS church, serving faithfully in many positions, including elder’s quorum president, stake mission president, high priest group leader, stake high council, Stake executive secretary and primary teacher. Ron and Shirley served as missionaries in Calgary, Canada, and in the Idaho Falls Temple visitor’s center. They also served as facilitators in the LDS church’s Addiction Recovery program.
