Terry Benjamin Bridges peacefully passed away on January 8, 2023 at the Life Care Center in Idaho Falls, surrounded by his family.
He was born on September 5, 1958 in Idaho Falls, ID to Kenneth M. Bridges and Effie Delores White.
His family moved to Shelley, ID when he was young where they have resided since. He attended Shelley Schools, graduating from Shelley High School in 1978.
He married Jeanenne Little on June 15, 1991 blending their families, Shane, & Tiffany, along with Kimberly, William, and Michael never using the word step child they were just all his. When they were first married, they lived in Rigby, ID, then Idaho Falls ID, until 1998 when they moved back to Rigby, and have resided there since. During this time they also added Christina, Mindy, and Rebecca to their family rounding it out to a total of eight children.
He was a jack of all trades, He rode fence for the Cattle association, milked cows, was a mechanic, loved being a ranch hand and working the shoots at the local rodeos, and was a handy man for 24 years.
He loved horses, the mountains, fishing, hunting, and his family. In his younger years he rode bulls, and did cutter racing with Glen Morgan.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanenne, his children, Kimmy, BJ, Mykul, Shane, Tiffany, Christina, Mindy, and Rebecca, also 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way. His brother Ted, and sisters Melda Feldott, and Kathy Hemmert.
He was preceded in death by his parents and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 13, 2023 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 W. Oak Street) Shelley. The family will meet with friends Friday from 11:30 A.M. till 12:45 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
